Uluwatu & Jimbaran

This morning, you leave for the peninsula of Bukit and Uluwatu where a staircase lined with frangipani trees will lead you to the entrance of the sacred Temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu.

Perched on an 80m cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, you can visit the temple surrounded by “four-legged” guards.

Then discover the village of surfers carved into the cliff and enjoy a local tea or coffee while watching the surfers slide on waves of more than 4 meters and come out of the long tubes that break.

Do not miss the descent into the cave, the mythical departure of the surfers, between cliffs and current.

Continue to Balangan beach where you will enjoy a moment of relaxation on the deckchairs between waves and cows, to finish your novel or admire the surfers.

Lunch at a local warung facing the ocean. Nap or swimming possible.

At the end of the day, depart for Jimbaran with its fishermen and fishing boats. You will discover the local warungs behind the fish market where you will choose your fish or shellfish directly on the stall and it is at the water’s edge, by candle light and the sound of a local group, that you taste it all, grilled with coconut shell, accompanied by a rice soup, vegetables and fruit salad.

Romantic evening guaranteed!
