On the way to Lake Bratan the second largest in Bali. To start, you will stop at Leke Leke Waterfall, a small lost paradise before arriving at one of the most photogenic temples dedicated to the goddess of water: Ulun Danu.
In this peaceful setting, you can admire the reflection of the temple in the water.
Descent to Bedugul for a short visit to the fruit market.
The day continues in Jatiluwih where there are stretches of rice fields classified as Natural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco. You will be captivated by the view before you. These rice terraces are the most emblematic of Bali.
Several routes will be available to you, you just have to follow the signs and meet the Balinese who cultivate their own rice. Guaranteed meeting!
Enjoy your lunch in one of the small warungs of your choice and take in the view.
On the way back, pass by the hot springs (air panas), which come straight from the volcanoes. You will dive there in sulphurous water on the mountainside in the middle of the local population.
Formerly, Bratan was the largest lake in Bali until an earthquake split it into three, forming Lake Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan.
